High-Grade Copper, Gold & AI: Stocks on the Move

Technology (+4.1%) led sector gains last week, closely followed by basic materials (+4.1%), as gold, silver and copper all rose WoW. The US$ and yields declined amid dovish Fed commentary. This week, we anticipate investor focus will shift to U.S. CPI and PPI inflation data as markets assess the interest-rate outlook ahead of the Fed’s September meeting.
