General Questions

Account & Login

Yes. As part of the upgrade to a new, more secure database, all users must reset their password on first login. This is a one-time security step.
Yes. Your account, subscription, and access level all remain active and unchanged.
No. All account details and subscription status were preserved during the migration.

Memberships & Pricing

Getting Premium access takes less than 1 minute. Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit: https://www.researchfrc.com/plans
  2. Choose your plan (monthly or annual).

  1. Click “Get Started” on your selected plan.
  2. Select your preferred currency (CAD or USD).
  3. IMPORTANT: Apply your promo code. Enter your promo code in the “Add promotion code” field and click Apply to activate your discount.

  1. Enter your email and payment details.
  2. Click “Subscribe” — your Premium access will be activated immediately.

Getting Started with the FRC App

Yes. The FRC App allows members to access all Fundamental Research Corp tools directly from their mobile device.

The app is a Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning it does not require downloading from the App Store or Google Play. Instead, it can be added directly to your home screen for quick and secure access.

  1. Open Safari (required) on your iPhone.
  2. Navigate to www.researchfrc.com. If your default browser is not Safari, please make sure you open the Safari app manually.
  3. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up).
  4. Scroll down and select ‘Add to Home Screen’.
    • If you don't see it immediately, tap ‘More Actions’ and then select ‘Add to Home Screen’.
  5. Tap ‘Add’ to confirm.

The FRC App icon will now appear on your home screen and function like a native app.

  1. Open Google Chrome on your Android device.
  2. Visit www.researchfrc.com.
  3. Wait a few seconds on the site — Chrome may display an “Install app” prompt at the bottom of the screen.
  4. If no prompt appears:
    • Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of Chrome
    • Select ‘Install App’ or ‘Add to Home Screen’
  5. Tap ‘Install’ to confirm.

The app icon will be added to your home screen for easy access.
