Nasdaq Uplisting Strengthens Visibility

FRC Analyst's Comment

PHOS has uplisted its shares from the OTCQX to the Nasdaq Global Market, marking an important milestone for the company. We believe the move should increase U.S. investor visibility, broaden its potential investor base, improve trading liquidity, and enhance access to capital, while strengthening the company’s profile as it advances its strategy to develop a vertically integrated North American LFP battery supply chain.

Since we initiated coverage in July 2025, the share price is up 455%, from $0.44 to $2.44, while MCAP has risen 796%, from $50M to $448M. Despite this strong performance, the shares remain 23% below our fair value estimate, suggesting the market has yet to fully recognize the potential value of the company’s integrated strategy.

Additional Federal Funding Reinforces Development Strategy

FRC Analyst's Comment

PHOS secured an additional $4.84M in non-repayable funding from Natural Resources Canada to advance power transmission and road infrastructure studies for its Bégin-Lamarche phosphate project in Quebec. Combined with the previously announced $16.7M federal funding package, total government support now stands at $21.5M.

PHOS is developing a vertically integrated North American LFP battery supply chain, spanning phosphate mining, purified phosphoric acid production, and downstream active cathode materials. Given that phosphate is classified as a critical mineral in both the U.S. and Canada, we view this substantial federal backing as a strong endorsement of the company’s strategic plan and management team.

Québec Grants Filon Fast-Track Status

FRC Analyst's Comment

PHOS has been granted "Filon" fast-track status by Québec's Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests for its flagship Bégin-Lamarche phosphate project. Filon is a provincial program that supports strategically important critical mineral projects by facilitating permitting and regulatory approvals, potentially accelerating project development while reducing execution risk.

Backed by an updated resource estimate in May 2026 that materially increased the scale and geological confidence of the deposit, the company is advancing toward a feasibility study. A recently completed $17.7M private placement strengthened its balance sheet, leaving PHOS with $35M in the treasury, and zero debt, to fund ongoing project development.
