Company Announcement

Advancing Scalable, Off-the-Shelf Cancer Therapies: Initial Thoughts (All figures in US$)

FRC Analyst's Comment

We are introducing a Singapore-based clinical-stage biotechnology company that we expect to initiate coverage on shortly. CytoMed is developing off-the-shelf cell therapies for cancer and other diseases. The company has five drug candidates, with CTM-N2D currently in phase I, while CTM-GDT is the next potential program to enter human trials.

Product Pipeline – Development Stage

Source: Company / FRC

Lead Candidate – CTM-N2D is CytoMed’s lead and most advanced drug candidate, currently in a phase I clinical trial. The company is building on the CAR-T concept, an established type of cancer treatment, but aims to overcome some of its limitations, particularly the need to use each patient’s own cells. CTM-N2D uses healthy-donor cells, with the goal of creating an off-the-shelf treatment that can be made in advance, and used across multiple patients. We believe this could make the therapy easier to manufacture and potentially more scalable than conventional CAR-T treatments.

Source: FRC / Company

Early laboratory and animal studies have shown encouraging anti-cancer activity, supporting further clinical development. However, human efficacy has not yet been demonstrated. The ongoing trial is primarily designed to assess safety, tolerability, and dosing.

Large and Growing Market: The opportunity is supported by a large and growing CAR-T market. The global CAR-T cell therapy market was $6B in 2025, and is projected to reach $22B by 2033, an 18% CAGR.

Other Candidates: Beyond CTM-N2D, CytoMed has four other drug candidates at earlier stages of development. CTM-GDT could become the company’s next clinical program. The other three candidates are at earlier stages, and provide additional opportunities in cancer treatment and other diseases. Together, we believe the pipeline provides further potential beyond the lead candidate.

Experienced Team: CytoMed is led by a team with expertise in cancer research, cell therapies, clinical development, and corporate finance, with management and the board owning 13% of the company.

Our upcoming initiation report will provide a detailed review of CytoMed’s pipeline, management strategy, key catalysts, risks, and our valuation, including a fair value estimate.
