The company is also involved in the transportation; medical waste treatment; and real estate leasing activities, as well as industrial waste refining; and material handling at ports. In addition, it produces counterweights and storage tanks.
The company operates in Japan, the United States, South Korea, Thailand, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, and internationally. Yamato Kogyo Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1944 and is headquartered in Himeji, Japan.
