This actively managed fund integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. Its investments target companies in the United States and Canada that satisfy one or both of two key gender diversity metrics: either a minimum of 25% female representation on their board of directors, or a female chief executive officer. To qualify for investment, companies must be listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, or TSX exchanges and fulfill specific criteria for investability and market liquidity. While primarily concentrating its portfolio on U.S. and Canadian entities, the fund retains the flexibility to allocate up to 10% of its assets to securities from other nations. To mitigate risk and manage market volatility, the fund has the discretion to employ various derivative instruments, including options, futures, forward contracts, and swaps, alongside engaging in short selling activities.
