Wisconsin Electric Power Company, together with its subsidiaries, generates, distributes, and sells electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Southeastern, East-Central, and Northern Wisconsin. The company generates electricity from coal, natural gas and oil, wind, hydro, solar, and biomass.
It also generates, distributes, and sells steam for processing, space heating, domestic hot water, and humidification in metropolitan Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In addition, the company engages in the purchase, distribution, and sale of natural gas to retail customers, as well as transportation of customer-owned natural gas in Southeastern, East-Central, and Northern Wisconsin. The company was incorporated in 1896 and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
