Westpac Banking Corporation, a financial institution based in Sydney, Australia, delivers a comprehensive array of banking and financial services to customers across Australia, New Zealand, and globally.

Its product portfolio includes a variety of deposit accounts such as savings, term, business transaction, foreign currency, farm management, project, retention, and statutory trust accounts.

The company also extends a wide range of lending options, including home, personal, business, and commercial loans, alongside vehicle and equipment financing, business overdrafts, and bank guarantees.

Westpac provides debit and credit cards, international and travel services, share trading, investment products, and extensive insurance coverage for home, auto, travel, life, caravan and trailer, credit card and loan repayment, boat, and various business needs.

For corporate and institutional clients, it offers sophisticated services such as transaction banking, financial market operations, corporate and structured finance, trade and supply chain financing, industry-specific banking, and treasury solutions, complemented by online banking facilities.

Founded in 1817, the company was initially known as Bank of New South Wales before officially becoming Westpac Banking Corporation in October 1982.
