Its operations are segmented into three main areas: Retail Banking: This division caters to individual consumers and small businesses, providing a full suite of traditional banking products including checking, savings, money market, and certificate of deposit accounts. It also offers diverse lending options such as residential mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, vehicle financing, credit cards, education loans, and personal and small business credit facilities. Additionally, it delivers brokerage, insurance, investment, and cash management solutions. Customers can access these services through an extensive network of physical branches, ATMs, call centers, and robust online and mobile banking platforms. Corporate & Institutional Banking: This segment serves mid-sized and large corporations, governmental bodies, and non-profit organizations. It offers a wide array of sophisticated financial products, including both secured and unsecured commercial loans, letters of credit, and equipment leasing. Furthermore, this segment delivers comprehensive cash and investment management, alongside services for managing receivables and disbursements, facilitating funds transfers, and executing international payments. Clients also benefit from advanced online and mobile information management tools and reporting. Other specialized services include foreign exchange, derivatives, fixed income products, securities underwriting, loan syndication, and advisory services for mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. The segment also supports clients with commercial loan servicing and technology-driven solutions. Asset Management Group: This group provides specialized wealth management and advisory services. For high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and their families, it offers bespoke investment and retirement planning, tailored investment management, credit and cash flow solutions, and trust administration. Ultra high net worth clients also receive multi-generational family planning. For institutional clients, this group delivers outsourced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) services, custodial services, private real estate solutions, cash and fixed income strategies, and fiduciary retirement advice. With a substantial physical footprint, PNC maintains 2,591 branches and 9,502 automated teller machines. The institution traces its origins back to 1852 and operates from its corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
