PFDE is an actively managed ETF seeks long-term capital appreciation by using a systematic, machine learning-powered approach to identify S&P 500 companies considered to be higher-quality. The fund invests in equities of these companies, typically holding 60140 stocks. The investment process uses a multi-factor, systematic framework evaluating candidates on metrics such as momentum (price, business, technical), sentiment (analyst revisions, ownership, short interest), growth (earnings, market share), quality (earnings, balance sheet, management), and valuation. An optimization process is used to balance return potential, risk, concentration, and transaction costs, with ongoing risk management at the factor, sector, and stock levels. Stocks may be sold if their investment rationale breaks down or more attractive opportunities are found. Portfolio holdings are rebalanced weekly.
