Its primary targets include gold, zinc, copper, nickel, silver, cobalt, and platinum group metals (PGMs). A cornerstone asset is the Prieska copper-zinc project, situated in South Africa's Northern Cape province. Orion also maintains an interest in the Okiep copper project, positioned north of Cape Town. Further South African holdings in the Northern Cape encompass the Namaqua-Disawell, Masiqhame, and Marydale projects. In Australia, the company possesses interests in the Fraser Range project in Western Australia and the Walhalla project in Victoria.
