Metal Arts Inc., through its subsidiary, Coating Technology, Inc., engages in contract electroless and electroplated nickel, aluminum anodizing, and other surface coating and enhancement operations.
The company's specialty chemicals consist of Microsmooth, a patented aluminum activator solution, used in conjunction with electroless-nickel for plating on aluminum. It services various industries through large, medium, and small metal fabricating companies who in turn supply subassemblies and individual component parts to manufacturers.
The company also provides other proprietary surface finishes to various contract customers. The company was founded in 1913.
