It also has an option to acquire 100% interest in Antofalla north lithium project covering 10,050 hectares of mining concessions located in the Salta, Argentina; Pocitos project covering an area of 26,000 hectares; and El Pidio GIII property covering an area of 1,602 hectares, as well as Rincon West project covering an area of 3,742.8 hectares located in Salta, Argentina. The company was formerly known as Iron South Mining Corp. and changed its name to Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp. in September 2016. Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp. was incorporated in 2000 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
