JAPAN POST BANK Co., Ltd. provides various banking products and services to retail and corporate clients in Japan and internationally.
The company offers liquid deposits, including transfer deposits, savings deposits, ordinary deposits, etc.; fixed-term deposits, such as time deposits, TEIGAKU deposits, etc.; and other deposits, as well as negotiable certificates of deposit.
It also provides loans secured by deposits, loans secured by Japanese government bonds, and credit card loans, as well as loans to local, central, and regional government authorities; syndicated loans; and corporate and other secondary market loans.
In addition, the company offers securities investment products, domestic and foreign exchange services, Japanese government bonds, investment trust products, and insurance products; and intermediary services, such as mortgage and credit card services.
Further, it provides overdraft lending services and housing loans; and remittance and settlement services; as well as online banking services. It operates through a network of 31,774 ATMs and 23,734 branches. The company was formerly known as Yucho Co, Ltd. and changed its name to JAPAN POST BANK Co., Ltd. in October 2007.
The company was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. JAPAN POST BANK Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd.
