The company offers specialized temporary staffing services, particularly catering to the oil and gas, marine, and offshore wind industries. Its media ventures encompass the publication of the Dutch financial newspaper, Het Financieele Dagblad, and the operation of the radio station BNR Nieuwsradio.
Further activities include providing horticultural communication products and services to growers, garden centers, and retailers; developing and producing identification and timing equipment for sports events under the MYLAPS brand; and engaging in the online retail and distribution of computer gaming equipment and accessories.
HAL Trust also maintains interests in real estate, focusing on the development and leasing of retail centers, multi-family properties, and office buildings. Additionally, it manages financial assets, including marketable securities and cash-equivalent instruments.
Its operational infrastructure includes storage terminals, a network of specialized care centers and fitting locations, and a fleet of 31 gas tankers. HAL Trust was established in 1873 and is headquartered in Willemstad, Curaçao.
