First Republic Bank, along with its affiliated entities, delivers tailored private banking, private business banking, and private wealth management solutions to a clientele primarily located in major U.S. metropolitan areas. The company's operations are divided into two distinct segments: Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. Clients are offered a comprehensive range of deposit accounts, including noninterest-bearing and interest-bearing checking options, money market checking and savings accounts, traditional passbook accounts, and various certificates of deposit. The bank also extends a diverse portfolio of lending products. These encompass residential mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit, and financing for multifamily properties, as well as commercial real estate and construction loans. Additionally, it provides personal and business loans, single-family construction loans, and other lines of credit designed for individuals and enterprises. These credit facilities are typically collateralized by single-family residences, multifamily buildings, and commercial real estate properties. Furthermore, First Republic Bank offers extensive wealth management services, which include a wide array of investment strategies and products, online investment management platforms, trust and custody services, both full-service and online brokerage, financial and estate planning, and access to alternative investments. Investment, insurance, and foreign exchange services are also part of this offering. In addition to its core financial services, the company provides modern conveniences such as online and mobile banking, refinancing options, and ATM and debit card services. As of December 31, 2021, First Republic Bank maintained a substantial physical presence across the United States. Its network comprised 82 licensed deposit-taking offices primarily situated in key California cities (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, and San Diego), along with locations in Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; New York, New York; and Jackson, Wyoming. An additional 12 offices were operational, focusing exclusively on lending, wealth management, or trust services. First Republic Bank was established in 1985 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
