Downer EDI Limited, an Australian-headquartered firm established in 1989, delivers comprehensive facilities management solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and global markets. The company's Transport division specializes in road infrastructure, offering services such as network management, routine upkeep, asset system implementation, spray sealing, and asphalt application, alongside the production and distribution of bitumen and asphalt goods. Within its Utilities segment, Downer EDI plans, engineers, builds, operates, sustains, oversees, and dismantles power and gas infrastructure. It also handles water and wastewater treatment, along with the development and refurbishment of related networks. This division is active in designing, constructing, and maintaining renewable energy assets, encompassing wind, solar, and energy storage systems. Additionally, it delivers technology and communications services, covering the design, civil and network construction, operation, and maintenance of fiber optic, copper, and radio networks. The Facilities segment provides outsourced facility solutions to diverse industries, such as defense, education, government, healthcare, resources, leisure, asset services, and hospitality. Its offerings span technical and engineering support, comprehensive maintenance and asset management (including planned shutdowns, turnarounds, and outage execution, operational upkeep, and refrigeration services), as well as strategic asset oversight. This segment further conducts feasibility studies, engineering design, procurement, construction, and both commissioning and decommissioning tasks. Moreover, it is involved in the design and manufacturing of mineral processing equipment and offers general building and construction services.
