Through its Warehousing and Distribution segment, DGL provides extensive logistical support, including freight forwarding, inventory management, transportation, and storage facilities.
While its primary expertise lies in handling dangerous and hazardous materials across Australia and New Zealand, the company also manages the distribution and logistics for a variety of other products, such as foodstuffs, pharmaceutical goods, agricultural supplies, security-sensitive items, and temperature-controlled products.
The Environmental Solutions segment is dedicated to resource recovery and waste management. Its activities encompass the treatment of liquid waste, the recycling of used lead acid batteries, and lead smelting and refining processes.
DGL serves a broad spectrum of industries, including agriculture, water treatment, mining, construction, automotive, food, pharmaceuticals, lead smelters, plastic recyclers, utilities, galvanizers, manufacturing, home and garden, and chemical companies.
Incorporated in 1984, the company changed its name from DGL Environmental Pty Ltd to DGL Group Limited in April 2021 and maintains its headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.
