Drilling Expands Black Raven’s Multi-Metal Potential (Central Newfoundland)

FRC Analyst's Comment

CRI delivered strong drill results at its Black Raven project, highlighted by a project-best 19.23% antimony (Sb), and 0.73 g/t gold, over 1.4 m. At Frost Cove North, the project’s main antimony-gold target, mineralization now extends 800 m along strike, and to 100 m depth, remaining open in all directions. At another target, drilling and surface sampling expanded a polymetallic vein system to 600 m. A new discovery at a separate target also returned promising copper and silver values.

Together, these results point to a potentially large multi-metal system rather than isolated veins. With antimony increasingly important for defense, batteries and semiconductors, and Western supply chains seeking alternatives to China, the results support further exploration and potential project value.

Additional results from the Black Raven project in Newfoundland and Labrador

FRC Analyst's Comment

Drilling returned very high-grade antimony intercepts of up to 7.25% over 2 m, well above the 2% threshold typically considered high grade, supporting stronger project economics. Mineralization has been traced over an 800 m strike length, to a depth of 100 m, and remains open in multiple directions. Antimony is drawing increasing interest due to its critical role in batteries, clean energy, military systems, alloys, and semiconductors, while export restrictions from China, the dominant producer, are driving demand for North American supply.

The company also identified a second, parallel vein hosting gold and silver, with results of 1 m grading 5.89 g/t AuEq, significantly above the typical global range of 0.5–2 g/t. In addition, surface sampling returned up to 10.59 g/t AuEq at another prospect.

Overall, we believe these results indicate potential for promising high-grade polymetallic targets, justifying additional exploration work.

Early drilling reveals broad, multi-metal system at Black Raven, Newfoundland and Labrador

FRC Analyst's Comment

Two early exploratory drill holes at the Pomley Cove Pond target, part of CRI’s Black Raven project, delivered encouraging results. They intersected parts of at least 20 veins containing gold, silver, lead, zinc, and molybdenum within a 120 m-wide zone, indicating a potentially broad mineralized system. Key intercepts include 1.37 m at 2.93 g/t AuEq, 0.20 m at 9.17 g/t AuEq, and 0.43 m at 2.34 g/t AuEq. For context, gold mines around the world typically have grades between 0.5 and 1.5 g/t, so these early results are promising.

Pomley Cove Pond is one of five promising areas at Black Raven, where management plans 10 trenches, and 15–20 more drill holes. The project also hosts two small past-producing gold mines, and multiple showings of antimony, silver, copper, zinc, and lead.
