Furthermore, it handles coal sampling, analysis, certification, and evaluations of geological formations, alongside other associated analytical tests. The Life Sciences division focuses on the environmental, food, pharmaceutical, and consumer product sectors, delivering analytical testing, sampling, and remote monitoring. It conducts microbiological, physical, and chemical analyses. Moreover, this segment furnishes crucial analytical data to support consulting and engineering companies, various industries, and governmental bodies. The Industrial segment provides specialized diagnostic testing and engineering solutions tailored for the energy, resources, transportation, and infrastructure industries. It caters to a broad clientele, including asset owners, operational managers, construction firms, and equipment manufacturers across sectors such as power generation, petrochemicals, mining, mineral processing, water management, infrastructure development, and transportation. Established in 1863, the company, originally known as Campbell Brothers Limited, adopted its current name, ALS Limited, in August 2012. Its global operations are directed from its headquarters in Milton, Australia.
