Additionally, 88 Energy maintains a 50% working interest in the approximately 195,373-acre Peregrine project, situated in the NPR-A region, and also wholly owns the Umiat Oil Field project, which spans about 17,633 acres directly south of Peregrine. The company, formerly known as Tangiers Petroleum Limited, adopted its current name, 88 Energy Limited, in February 2015.
