We selected Aris Mining for the Stock Pickers University Challenge Fall 2026 as part of the Mount Royal University Student Investment Fund. We like it because its gold production is growing, with first-half 2026 output up 31% from a year earlier and its new Marmato plant on track for first gold in the fourth quarter. We see gold price swings and operating risk in Colombia as the main risks.
